Petanque or boules court with used railway sleepers
Thought you might like to see my Petanque project (French Boules...... just in case it isn't obvious!!) It is built to the minimum size of 12m x 3m and filled with hardcore and crushed limestone which makes for a hard and durable playing surface. http://www.britishpetanque.org/Information.html

Great to see French boules crossing the channel and establishing sites in the UK. These new French oak railway sleepers make a tough & attractive edging for this addictive sport!
