I am always amazed by the transformation between the 'bare boned' railway sleeper planter, when it's just been constructed and newly planted, and the same raised bed months later when it's a riot of flowers, with joyous colours and scents, and bees and butterflies!

Most landscapers simply stack railway sleepers on top of each other and then screw them together with Timberlok railway sleeper screws. Job done! So, it is refreshing to see someone taking the more skillful and arduous option of actually jointing them by hand. Impressive, time consuming, but attractive.
